PADDLE BOARDING AND SNORKELLING

Paddle Boarding: Try some paddle boarding on one of the calmest bays in the islands. Imagine paddling and looking down to see fish swimming, coral reefs, and champagne sand.

Snorkeling Trips:

Daily snorkeling trips offer you a chance to experience different coral formations, marine life, and waters. The day comprises of many snorkeling stops around the island of Nacula and stops at some of the world’s most re-known locations. We have you back at the resort in time for lunch!

HANDLINE FISHING AND CHARTERS

1) Handline Fishing: FJ$45 per adult and FJ$25 for children. The local boys from the resort happen to know all of the hot spots for some great fishing. The hand line fishing allows you to experience a trip with our skilled fishermen, as you make your way to the fishing spot, you will be in control of your lines, and luck.

2) Fishing Charter: Min charter length is 4 hours. Rates start at FJ$1500 for half day. No minimum number of people, max of 6 pax. Should you book the charter for 4 hrs and decide to end the excursion early, the same min. half day rate applies.

THE FAMOUS LIMESTONE CAVES AT SAWA-ILAU

Visit the Caves on one of the trips that now leave four times a week Monday – Wednesday – Friday or Saturday. Depart the resort at 8:00 am and return by 11.30am in time for any departures.

The Sawa-i-Lau caves are an experience you will forever treasure and one that will provide you with that rare sense of accomplishment, adventure and just a bit of trepidation. As you exit these mystical caves, you will feel that you have been bound and linked with old gods, new friends, and Mother Nature in a uniquely Fijian experience.  

Cost: FJ$89 per adult and FJ$45 for children (inclusive of cave entrance fee)

VILLAGE VISIT

Village Visits: Several times a week we take a trip over to Nacula Village where you get the chance to see a traditional Fijian village for yourselves. The ladies will display their handicrafts at the craft market for you to pick up some gifts for home, at the same time supporting the local families with income from their crafts. FJ$35 for adults and $15 for children.

EVENING ACTIVITIES

Resort Activities Night: Each night is different at Blue Lagoon and offers a different experience from the laid back movie under the stars, to the beach bonfire party, we are sure that you will find enough to get you into the island way of life nighttime activities include :

Movie Nights Crab racing Quiz nites Volleyball Challenges Traditional Fijian Dancing and singing Oceanside Dinners on the beach Kava Time with the band boys

CULTURAL CONNECTIONS

Church Visits: Experience an authentic church service in the village of Nacula as the Ministers and congregation welcome you into the service. The village is located via a 15-minute boat ride, where you will disembark the boat, and walk the short distance of 50 meters to the Church.

We recommend taking a bottle of water, as it can be anywhere from a 40-minute service to slightly longer. Take your camera as the building itself is quite incredible. Departs each Sunday at 9:30 am from the resort and returns at approx. 11 am. The cost is just FJ$35 per adult to cover the cost of the boat ride and $15 for children.

School Visits: As we believe in the future of the people of Fiji, we have worked with the local people of Nacula Village to introduce a scholarship fund that serves to ensure the education of the children continues. The funds cover school tuition, supplies, and lodging for the children. Along with your kind donations, we can provide the scholarship.
